To prevent deficiencies of iron:
Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years: Two 5ml spoonfuls (10ml) once daily.
To treat deficiencies of iron:
Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years: Two 5ml spoonfuls (10ml) taken once or twice daily.
This product should only be taken during the first 3 months of pregnancy in consultation with a doctor.
Infants and children under 12 years: Dose to be determined by the doctor.
Each 5ml contains 45mg elemental iron (equivalent to 140mg ferrous fumarate) as the active ingredient.
